COVID Safety Measures
The Ministr of Health, Labor, and Welfare has reconsidered the need for masks in regards to preventing the spread of COVID. Whether or not you choose to wear a mask is up to the individual.
At Michi-no-Eki-Mae Inawashiro Strawberry Farm, we limit the number of guests and maintain regular ventilation for the health and saftey of our guests.
We kindly ask our guests to:
- Practice proper hygiene, such as hand washing, alcohol disinfection, and wearing a mask at their own discretion.
- Social distance in areas where large groups of people gather, both indoors and outdoors.
- Use alcohol disinfecting spray and practice proper handwashing.
- Please refrain from visiting our facilities if you have a body temperature of over 37.5 degrees Celsius.
Facility Safety Measures:
- Hand sanitization stations are located throughout our facility.
- Our facility’s equipment is regularly cleaned and disinfected, especially areas where customers put their hands.
- Ventilation is implemented on a regular basis.
- Plastic sheets and barriers are installed at reception and other areas to prevent the spread of airborne particles between staff and guests.
Staff Safety Protocols:
- Staff regularly and thoroughly wash and disinfect their hands.
- Staff report their body temperature and condition daily and will not be allowed to work if unwell.
- We regularly check our staff’s physical condition and educate employees on proper health protocols.
